Did a >14,500 mls 3+ months road trip across the SW USA in 2017. (My experiences reflect this year and time and can be different now). Stopped at a motel in Junction, Texas, for 1 night and got to see this interesting place. Short Stop was only a 5 minute walk away from my motel (the entire town has, like, 1 light) and the staff in both the convenience store and the pizzeria are very friendly and outgoing. It helped that it was a Friday night (there a decent party atmosphere going on with all the guests coming through) and I hung out for almost 3 hours. You can get a good pizza, the drinks you need and sit down on comfortable benches in the restaurant area. Junction, TX is ideal for anyone doing a road or business trip, looking for a place to sleep, fill up your vehicle and get a bite to eat! I highly recommend Short Stop in Junction, TX. A place where Southern Hospitality meets convenience. A+

I arrived on the bus. Upon entering the store I was watched like I was going to steal items from the store. I went to the restroom, noticed a sign stating "People on the bus can not order food". I was proceeding out of the store when I heard a voice say, "We don't have disease in this County and we want to keep it that way." I was wearing a mask and asked the clerk to clarify exactly what he ment! He said that "We" don't have anyone sick here and we want to keep it that way! I told him I was Not sick and why was he addressing me in that manner? He told me to leave, I did, on the way out a "white man" was purchasing items but had no mask. I asked if he felt like he would get sick from him? He told me to just get out! He took his name tag off but I'm pretty sure corporate knows exactly who he is.

Good quick stop use the Restroom then get Snacks Drinks or order a Good Pizza.

I ordered 12 Hot wings on a Saturday and they said kitchen is closed I had gone other Saturdays before they cooked them for me as for me I won't ever shop at Short stop again!!!!
