I like how spruced up this BART station has become. The remodel made it much brighter, added blue mood lighting to the SF bound platform, added gold tones to the ticketing mezzanine concourse. And they added art.

It's a good and recently renovated BART station. Better than 12th St. It's located in the heart of downtown/uptown Oakland and sees decent service. Pretty safe

why are there no trash cans here i walked around everywhere and i cannot find a single trash can while waiting for the bart

Easy walk in and walk out but be careful of your personal items, BART is having a problem with thieves. Also, people usually just exit & enter through the emergency exits here, they barely pay. It is a convenient location for getting to the popular area of Uptown Oakland.
