Just a thoroughly exceptional experience. One of the most memorable stays of my life, and I’ve stayed at many of the most prestigious hotels of the world. Take the B&B/inn concept, make it thoroughly luxurious, add a Jean-Georges restaurant and Frette linens, and you’ve got a winning recipe. A category-buster.

If not for the service, this would have been an extremely wonderful dining experience. The valet attendant greeted two cars that arrived behind mine, and left me sitting In my vehicle while my group stood To the side waiting for me to receive a valet ticket. Happy hour ran out of champagne glasses, so we had to share the glasses that we did have. The food was excellent, but not all of it came out during the dinner service, despite asking several times where sides were. So we had to have our food wrapped up when it finally arrived as our plates were being cleared. The restored venue was beautiful, But this was more of a place to claim to have been then place to frequent

I cannot recommend this incredibly special gem enough!!! Topping Rose House is one in a million. Every single detail from the historic architecture, to the luxury and cozy hotel, to the exquisitely delicious farm-to-table menu, to the very warm, welcoming and amazing wait staff - is simply the best….. I cannot wait to return and experience the magic of this beautiful season - and every season - here at Topping Rose House!

We were unimpressed by our stay, this is not a 5 star establishment. We arrived and the valet was a bit rude, not welcoming at all, front desk was fine and walked us to our room and explained the property. Now the room - nice complimentary snacks and water however there was a strong musty smell. complimentary rose was in room but not on ice and no opener or wine glasses provided? Bathroom a bit dirty, some mold in caulk etc. Backyard had an outdoor loveseat which the cushion was wet and moldy - unusable. Now for the next morning - breakfast service was extremely slow, all food was fine eggs are very bad. We went to the pool, cushions were moldy. Went down to the “spa” which is not really a spa two bathrooms with showers and a treatment room. Overall just confused by our experience here - was expecting a lot more. There are a few nice touches but overall the service is certainly not 5 star nor is the cleanliness of this property. Will never return!
