Oh my gosh! I don't know the lady's name, but she helped me out at the Deli. She was very sweet and kind. The store is so nice and clean, and the zone was perfect. Nothing was on the floor, and everything was in its proper place. The floor was clean, and the Produce Section was neat and tidy. I was greeted at the door, and the whole store looked great. I'm talking about the store in Hoquiam. I hardly ever go into that store, but I'm going to make it a point to go more often. Whoever made those ribs and mashed potatoes with meatballs, they were delicious!

Disappointing Decline in Quality (1 Star) I've been a customer at Swansons for years, ever since I was a kid. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, which makes this review even harder to write. Unfortunately, the quality of the products has declined significantly in recent times. On multiple occasions, I've purchased food that was past its expiration date. This is concerning and falls far short of the standards I used to expect from Swansons. On top of that, the prices seem to have gone up considerably, making it difficult to justify shopping there anymore. It saddens me to say this, but I won't be shopping at Swansons in the future. While I dislike going to Walmart, it feels like the only option for now. Hopefully, Swansons will address these issues and return to the quality and value it once offered. Update: May 25th, 2024 I went today and I had found multiple items close to expiring or expired the dip i wanted had expired April 12, 2024…over a month expired on shelf…

High high prices. Definitely not somewhere you go to get more than a couple things. Employees are friendly

Since no one else is gonna say it. I might as well. The food sucks, the groceries are over priced, the food is usually past dare or right before best due date, the produce is always moldy. There are some checkers are either unruly and / or act careless by just tossing groceries in the grocery bags. I went and spent over $200 in groceries and the checker just tossed my groceries in the bags, not only did she break a dozen of eggs which cost $8 but a refill bottle of hand soap went all over my bag of groceries. Mind you. I wasn't the only customer that was not happy. There was another one who lives in humptulips that was very upset because they were only 2 checker with lines going into the aisle and at least 6 employees walking around not doing . She even mentioned how careless the employees are and how she can believe how she can spend so much on food that either rotten or expired .

Friendly cashiers and helpful too. Easy to shop and get your groceries. Awesome chicken n jojos. Love their deli.
