It's absolutely incredible! We made reservations to make sure we were good for seating. Appetizers were incredible and had so much depth and complexity. Very fresh ingredients. They have amazing bourbon list from blantons to eagle rare and many more. The main course was served just as Appetizers were cleared. I ordered the blackened scallops, my daughter the steak and lobster. Others in our party got the special tile fish. It was about 500 for the meal but was so worth it. Great views and food. I highly recommend if you looking for upscale dining.

The best dining experience at Hatteras! The food was great and the view of the Pamlico Sound was gorgeous. We tried the Eggs Neptune, and Chorizo Burrito and loved it. Our service was incredible too. Highly recommend the Pineapple Upside Down Mimosa, it was delicious. Overall, extremely satisfied with our choice of restaurant.

This is a wonderful restaurant with an amazing view of the sound. The food is exquisite and the service is very friendly. When they have live music, it adds to its great ambience. Highly recommend the shrimp & grits - it is one of a kind. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu - they have a nice variety.

Went for breakfast memorial day weekend. By far the best breakfast place in town. Love the atmosphere and their outdoor dining. The portion sizes were great as well! Ate my food so fast, forgot to take a picture. Highly recommend! We will definitely be coming back!

The scallops carbonara were excellent—perfectly braised over a rich cream sauce with al dente pasta that was highlighted by smoky bacon and peas with plenty of snap. My wife also thoroughly enjoyed the green curry with blackened chicken. (The dish is quite spicy.) The whipped goat cheese was a delicious starter; the generous serving topped with blue berries in a syrup (with walnuts) was nearly a meal in itself. Very affable host and our waiter Dallas was pleasant and attentive. Wonderful sunset view. The restaurant is outstanding in all particulars
