Two night stay. Staff seemed nice, laundry very accommodating. Pool seemed decent. Cleanliness of room was definitely below average online pictures of rooms are older pictures. Room smelled musty with a dehumidifier. Carpet had stains, bedding had stains, dirt in the bathroom floor corners, found a controlled pill on the carpet as if the room was not vacuumed between guests. Only offered an apology. Instead of a new room or a discount. We were close to the pool, constantly hearing pool door opening and closing until close. Pool closed at 10pm. Was difficult to keep one year old asleep with door opening and closing at the pool.

We stay here every year because of it's cleanliness and it's location to Holiday World. Yes rooms are a bit old however it's clean and manageable for my family. Great to have breakfast the next morning too. Management is OK, would be nice if they talked to you during check in but not a big deal.

Arrived middle of night before the 4th of July, travelling through, and found the price to be reasonable for a room. The concierge was friendly and quick to come to the counter. My room was clean; that is usually people's biggest worry. The bed spread itself had some hair strands on the underside (which may be reasonable), but the sheets and covers I have no qualms with. Toilet paper was soft and good. Shower water pressure was good (the head is a bit low for tall people). The layout is a bit strange with the sink in the main room rather than behind the closed door of the bathroom. The towels are super soft. The pillows were soft and thick. The bed felt good on my back. The only aspect of the room that needs improved is sound insulation; I could hear the man in the adjacent room quite well as he spoke. Nevertheless, I am very satisfied with the room. There was free breakfast in the morning. I grabbed an apple which was in plastic wrap, but it had some mould and rottenness in the top cavity of it. I tossed it out, therefore. Deduction for service because of that. For checkout, the woman was super friendly.

We stayed here for our family vacation to Holiday World. We stayed 4 nights and it was wonderful! Farrah at the desk was super! Kind, fun and helpful. We had a family of 5 and she was great with our kids, and made sure we had blankets for everyone. Couldn't have asked for better accommodations. The breakfast was exactly what we needed to get our days at the park started on the right note. We will definitely use this hotel if we stay in Dale again, and that is directly related to the hospitality Farrah showed us!

This was, by far, one of the most awful hotel experiences I have had. Overall first impression was mediocre. There was a line for check-in that consisted of 4 guests that took over 25 minutes to get through and the gentleman running the counter spoke very broken english. I had done the check-in through the text link that the hotel sent me, so I figured it would be pretty quick. I had entered all of my information including credit card info previously but the desk clerk insisted that I needed to insert my card for incidentals. Fair enough. I inserted my card and continued the check-in process. Before I finished checking in I received a text from my credit card company stating that they had spotted what appeared to be a duplicate charge (the hotel had charged my card earlier in the day, then charged it again upon arrival). I confirmed that it was a duplicate and they (credit card company) declined the charge. When we arrived at our room, it smelled bad and was not very clean. The carpet looked like it had not been vacuumed, the blankets on the beds had spots, bathroom needed swept and there was hair in the shower. After a very long day at Holiday World, I didn't feel much like complaining and we decided to make the best of it. After plugging the sink (using the sink drain plug) so I could wash out a few clothing items, I found that I couldn't unplug the sink. We also found that they didn't supply any pillows for the pull out bed. When I went to call down to request that someone look at our sink and that we get extra pillows I found that our phone was not connected to anything nor was there a cord to connect to. The thing was literally there for decoration. My husband and I had to run out to get a few items and on our way back in I stopped at the desk to ask about the drain and the pillows. The clerk argued with me and said they do not give extra pillows and that i had already been given the one extra pillow for the pull out. I asked him when was I given the extra pillow and the best I could make out of his response was "yesterday". I had literally just checked in. He huffed after a few minutes and said he would bring me a pillow and look at the sink. When he came and looked at the sink, he determined that he couldn't fix it and that someone would have to look at it in the morning and gave us one pillow and left angrily. At 3:45 am the hotel charged me $2.14 (at the time for unknown reasons) then at 4:23 am charged my card again for the room (also detected by my credit company). We awoke in the morning and went down for breakfast at about 9 am (continentalbreakfast served daily from 7am to 10am). The breakfast was lacking at best. The eggs and sausage were gone and were not refilled while we were there (until about 9:40), the waffle batter was empty, milk was empty and both juice dispensers were flashing to be refilled. We had mini muffins and dry cereal for breakfast. When we went back up to our room we found our room key no longer worked. There were several others on my floor that had the same issue that all were scheduled to check out that morning. It was almost as if they disabled the room keys before check out. While waiting for my key to be fixed I noticed a sign on the counter that says that the hotel will charge you an additional $2.00 (plus tax) for the safe located in your room. If you use the safe they keep the money, otherwise you may request a refund within 60 days. That seems wild to me. I have never had to pay to use the safe provided but luckily we didn't use it and I requested the refund. Overall it was an unpleasant experience with unpleasant staff. All of the staff I encountered was of middle eastern heritage and had very little English speaking capabilities. The whole place seemed dirty and dated. Other guests could be heard complaining about dirty bed sheets, lack of towels, dirty rooms, being over charged or charged multiple times... for real... consider the Motel 6 across the street. It looked very nice from the outside.
