I see there there are several glowing reviews, which I find to be a bit baffling. Although the suite is spacious and livable, the “comforter” is no more than a thin blanket sandwiched between two sheets, there is paint chipping off of the bathroom tile (it looks like it was painted in the updating), and the build out of the rooms into suites means there are spaces that just don’t make sense (for instance, the two by four screwed into a space in the ceiling of the closet). I marked the location as a two because it is in the business district and shuts down one the weekends, early. If you are choosing this hotel because of price (its decent), please be aware that I did not feel safe walking outside without someone with me. I will say that their employees, the service, was really good; always ready to help, very responsive, and engaged.

Strange condo/hotel high rise in the center of downtown Honolulu with very low occupancy. No food or store on premises. Perfect location for working in the downtown office area, but a scary place to be on the streets after dark. Downtown is non-residential other than street transients. Apartment itself was large with beautiful views but spartanly furnished and there were bugs (water bugs, small roaches?) in the bathroom when the lights weren’t on (they scurried away). A/C was also an issue building wide

From the outside the hotels looks so modern, however from the inside it isn’t, The room we had on the 36th floor and a splendid view, however the bed blankets were so thin we struggled to stay warm, the air con chilled only, The shower was brilliant although 70’s looking & feel, bedroom, dining/kitchen are were all spacious. Outside and this is beyond the vitriol of the hotel is a lot of homeless, there’s a 7/11 That seems to attack them, The parking was brilliant and safe,

Absolutely horrendous experience. We booked this room thinking that we would lounge around a bit around the pool during our downtime just to find out that the pool was closed due to maintenance. Our room was dirty and super old. The carpet was peeling up at the corners and bubbling in the middle. The wallpaper on the wall was peeling at the seams and in the corners and there were cobwebs in the corners. Every time the air conditioner would kick on it would wake us up because of the rattling of the fan. We had to take cold showers because the water heater was being worked on. The hallways off the elevator looked like you were walking into a horror film with lights flickering. if we were not exhausted from our travel, we would've absolutely went somewhere else for the night. Our room was straight out of the 1990s with likely the original furniture and wallpaper and carpet. The pictures on the website are completely misleading. Not sure where the folks stayed that left good reviews…

Easy check-in, large room with kitchenette & washer/dryer combo. A bit of a sketchy neighborhood, but great Asian cuisine options. The elevator doors close dangerously fast and within only a few seconds of opening, making hauling luggage rather difficult. I might stay here again, if in need of a quicker ride to HNL.
