My husband and I love this place. We just celebrated 25 years together here. ♡ My husband and I have spent quite a few anniversaries here. They are very caring. I love the decorations and the different styles to the rooms. We usually love the Mandalay for the whirlpool bathtub. We tried the Executive & Safari this time. I love the Safari room. And I cannot wait to try the steam shower.

They could easily charge twice what they do and still be a great value. The owners make you feel at home the second you walk in. Extremely clean, very comfortable beds, great breakfast. Take an extra 30 minutes just to tour the whole place, very much worth it. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great experience Pat and Larry!

We rented all three rooms in the carriage house and it was a nice place for our family to hang out while we were in the area. Beds were comfortable and we could sit in the living room and play games around the dining room table. However, we were disappointed that our breakfast wasn’t included, despite the website saying they serve a free hot breakfast. When we asked why it wasn’t, no real explanation was given, were just told it wasn’t. Unfortunately, we learned this while seated at the restaurant associated with the mansions. Our breakfast was delicious but definitely not free. We purchased breakfast food that night and ate at the carriage house the following day. We frequently stay at Bed and Breakfast establishments around the state and they always include breakfasts. Disappointed that this wasn’t made clear in advance, despite receiving several communications in advance of our stay.

I just got back from staying at Lyons Twin Mansions this weekend for our Board Meeting Retreat. Me and 11 other board members were placed in rooms in each of the mansions and the cottage located behind the main mansions. We participated in a murder mystery party - The Millennium and it was made extra fun by the hostess Bree who read the directions and a few narrations while I and other board members were in character. The meal was spectacular and the dessert - a fudge brownie and with caramel sauce...phenomenal! I shared a room with another gal (married couples were in the king size bedrooms). I was expecting two doubles in one room...wrong! My room was a jack and jill style - bathroom in the middle joining two separate rooms. Each room was its own master with a queen bed, tvs and a decorative fireplace. There was vintage style desk with awesome windows that looked out into the greenery outside with light sunshine in the morning that softly enveloped the room. The food at Nate's Place - their restaurant had great food. I grabbed the build your own salad for lunch. It was a huge portion with made to order dressing. You fill out an order card and check with toppings you prefer, then when you arrive for lunch, it is waiting for you. All in all, this was a great getaway - I will definitely be back!
