Not quite the Nature Preserve I was expecting. More like a very nice path to the beach. Very small beach. Sadly covered in trash from the ocean. Made me sad and want to come back with trash bags.

Short and calm walk from the street to the beach ☀️ I love how they have displayed some information about wild life.

The Key West Nature Preserve is a nice little pocket park with a boardwalk that opens up to the sea. The marshy area can sometimes smell and foster more bugs than is usual in modern Key West, but this is reflective of an untouched island ecology. Muscle through the marsh and you’ll be treated to a private seaside view not many visitors or even locals ever see. Great area for birdwatching!

Even though this little slice of land between two hotels was a little polluted with garbage, I still enjoyed my snack here. There weren't really any people here when I visited. There are no bathrooms

This place has a short boardwalk from the street to the beach through the trees. There’s a narrow beach with sea debris and riffraff. Nice place does sitting and watching the ocean or going for a swim. Small park with not that much to see, but it’s a good nature break from the shopping and bar streets of Key West.
