Absolutely awful experience. Some sort of Latin night at their bar = wall-shaking, aggressive bass house music well past 2am. We had the A/C on full blast cold yet the room was 90+ degrees and stifling all night. Infoor pool was too cold to use and the entire pool area was so foggy we couldn't even see each other. Coarse towels were tiny, old, and very uncomfortable to use. People running and swearing outside and slamming doors until 3am. Tried to get a club soda with ice at the bar but the bartender who used profanity to talk about his missing boss did not know what club soda is. Hotel is close to Shawnee Mountain so there's that. I will never, ever set foot on the property again. The proprietors should be ashamed of themselves. Stay away.

I got there the first night exhausted and didn't really check things out, but my daughter noticed something that looked like blood smeared on the laminated TV channel menu. I told her don't touch it. I'll check things out tomorrow. Woke up and we started noticing blood everywhere in little spots. It was absolutely horrifying. I went to the front desk to report this and the guy did not seem concerned at all and just said "I'll give you another room" and gave me a new key. The ONLY reason we stayed was because we were in town for a funeral and things had been hectic enough. Not even an apology. The cleaning lady didn't clean the room until Saturday morning. We checked in Thursday night and brought this to their attention Friday morning. It was room 347 if anyone has stayed in that room or books with them and that's the room they give you, check it good!!!! Being exposed to blood is a biohazard. Completely UNEXCUSABLE!!!! I will never stay there ever again!! I can't upload photos because I don't know how to.

Although i understand we booked a smoking room, the room had a stale cigarette smell in it, without us ever smoking in it. No air fresheners,sprays, etc. My Front door had no cylinder (lock) on it. The bathroom walls were cracked, and garbage over flowed in the cans outside the rooms.

HORRIBLE service. We ended up arriving for check-in very late in the day. Around 11:30 PM. An hour or so earlier we received a phone call from the hotel double checking if we were going to arrive that night or if the reservation should be canceled. They also were unable to run our credit card because the number had changed after we had fraudulent charges and wanted to charge us for the no-show if we didn’t come. I confirmed we would be arriving well before midnight and was told that someone would be at the front desk until 1230. We arrived around 1130 and a man who appeared to be the manager told us our reservation had been canceled and the room had already been rented to someone else because it was a very busy weekend in the Poconos. When I told him we had been phoned and confirmed with someone he strongly denied that any such call had occurred because he had been at the desk the entire time and would know if anyone had called because it only would have been him. Meanwhile another man is checking in a couple next to him and I have their phone number in my recent calls. He then offered us, a family of four, a room with a queen bed and Jacuzzi but the Jacuzzi was broken. Given the disappointing appearance of the property we ended up leaving and were able to find another hotel room nearby. But the customer service at the front desk was among the worst in our decades of travel.

The rooms we stayed in were gross to say the least. The carpets were so dirty our kids feet were black within an hour and then we all wore shoes the rest of our stay. Thankfully it was only 1 night. The bathrooms were old, moldy, needed cleaned. The rooms smelled damp and musty. The rooms made us not want to even go in the pool with kids, not knowing if they maintain the pool as well as the rooms. Will never stay here again.
