Went during lunch on a Friday and had a lovely experience. Started with a bread with whipped ricotta which was delicious and then shared a short rib salad and a short rib sandwich, all tasted great. Portions were very generous, packed half of the food to go. Server was very nice and friendly, did not wait too long for food either. Overall, great place and definitely would return to try pizzas and drinks.

My wife and I absolutely love this place. The garlic bread with cheese and the vodka sauce for dipping is the best! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. It's definitely one of our favorite restaurants in danbury!

Tonight's dinner was a huge disappointment. Had the half mussels appetizer and the mussels were so tiny, a quarter size of the shell, see photo, and it wasn't worth $17. The sauce was incredible but might as well order the sauce and the bread. And another huge disappointment was the seafood fra diavolo... sauce was just regular marinara with overcooked shrimp and scallops and again, the disappointingly mini mussels that came with it... for $34, it was a complete waste of money, I had to smother it with red pepper flakes to make it taste like fra diavolo and the portion of spaghetti was tiny. BF said his New York strip steak was nothing to rave about, although a perfectly cooked steak, with a small portion with no taste besides the sauce that came with it... again, not worth the $34 price tag. If you're starving, you'd be sorry you even ordered this. We had a drink and after $120 without the tip, and $145 with tip, we regret even wasting money coming here. Loved their other dishes before , but tonight's dinner was a HUGE let down. I'll probably just eat their fettuccine bolognese but other than that, not wasting money on anything else that's ridiculously overpriced. Sorry, Stanziatos, you're not a fancy fine dining place that warrants the extremely expensive food... with sub par quality seafood and super expensive drinks. Place is loud and you have to basically scream to hear each other. 2 stars are for the service for tonight and that's it. Not sure I'd come back.

First time here, and I really enjoyed myself. Was definitely a great experience. The restaurant is awesome! The service was great! An adorable young couple took care of us. They worked great together and both were very friendly. We ordered the broccoli wings. I've never heard of this before and seriously one of my favorite appetizers. Very delicious! The meatballs were delicious! Cooked and seasoned perfectly! I forgot the name of our pizza. I believe it was the Soppressata Pie. It had soppressata, cherry peppers, and hot honey - I believe. It wasn't a WOW pizza, but still good. Dough was a bit soft for me - I thought it would have a little crisp to it ( bottom of pizza). My experience here was great! Would definitely return

Aye t̾e̾r̾p̾y̾fam ya boy had to throw some shade on this local staple n here's why👇👇👇.... Having been around is 09 I have had a few meals here going way back to opening week. The quality hasn't been the same since Stanczak left in '15 n its slowly been regressing ever since. Tonight's service was a letdown... the arancini app was underwhelming and lets talk about the pizza I got the "show me the honey" pie and while the flavors were there for the most part there was a lot of missteps goin on... There was way too much sauce drowing the poor crust that never stood a chance... its more neapolitan style and so there's flop. Only other issue was the oven was too hot or needed to be cleaned out cuz the normal wood fired char was on overload and made things very bitter and I swear it's a combo gas/wood oven because I could almost taste it on the crust. Overall not what I remember it being
