If you're a Lyft or Uber driver, all you need to bring them is your driver's license or a copy of your Dallas driver's permit and your phone with the Lyft/Uber app that displays the info regarding what vehicle you are using. You will also need to fill out a form that you can get off their website or in person. I would recommend filling the form out before hand because the process goes a lot faster when you do. You will sign in and they'll ask for the above info and then have you take a seat. You'll wait maybe 10/15 minutes tops, depending on how many people are in front of you it may be longer, and then a team member will come out with you to your car and put the DFW decal on your windshield. I was in and out fairly quickly. I'm happy they have the staff they have because they made this painless.

Better call and get very specific instructions before investing the time to drive to this office. This was my second attempt to get DFW permit and I was told “sorry we’re closed the first Wednesday of every month”. Yet another two hours wasted. ☹️

If this is the company that runs the rental car shuttles it’s horrible. You need more busses. It took me 4 full busses to get to the rental facility on the 11th. This was not the first time. Higher more drivers !!!!!

This is the correct place for DFW Airport decals for Ride-share (Uber, Lyft, etc) drivers. Bring: Title (info on car VIN, Plate#, etc,); State DL; Transpo-4-Hire DL; & show them your app (facial recognition). Also, they verify your car State Registration (blue sticker) & Transpo-4-hire permit (orange sticker).

The staff are nice and informative both over the phone and in-person especially the main co-worker Arizona. Don’t get there too early as you’ll be asked to come back later. It is closed the first Wednesday of each month but yet they don’t properly state that on Google or the website anywhere. Like any workplace, they often aren’t fully geared up on Fridays so just try earlier weekdays if you must go in person for a toll sticker or other vehicle regustration. And obviously like any business, they’re closed on weekends. There are two lanes, the left is where you enter; the right lane is for taxi cabs only. The taxi drivers and taxi inspectors are always incredibly rude and should be fired/have their license revoked for their profane and stand-offish behavior as its unprofessional and they’re unhelpful. With a little restaffing and training, this office could be more than just average/decent.
