I have enjoyed traveling through Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The shops are great. I do not have anything to complain about. One thing I would recommend is to not get to the airport before 4:00 AM for a 6:00 AM flight if you need a paper ticket. My digital app was not working and I had to wait to the airline to open after 4. The self service computers were also down until 4 AM. 7/23/2024, visit to Washington National. Video posted on how to find a tunnel from terminal 1 to parking and car rental. This tunnel is nice when raining.

Beautiful and bright airport. Lots of great food choices. Enjoyed the recliners near gate E47. Wichita, KS recently got non stop service to DC and really enjoy traveling through DCA. The American Airlines gates provide great plane spotting of arriving aircraft from the north. Best plane spotting is near the NE corner of gate E57.

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is a fantastic gateway to the nation's capital. The location is incredibly convenient, just a short drive from downtown D.C. The National Hall is clean, spacious, and filled with plenty of dining and shopping options. The airport staff is friendly and efficient, making the security process smooth and quick. The views of the Potomac River and the monuments during takeoff and landing are breathtaking. Highly recommend this airport for anyone traveling to or from Washington, D.C.!

Delay, delay, delays. More often people are waiting because Delta and their partners can't get timely flights out of Reagan. What's supposed to be an hour flight turns into 6 hours. Just terrible. This used to be a decent airport but service capabilities are on the decline with Delta and its partners here. They're not any different than the discount carriers but paying more for poor performance.

This is a smaller airport compared to others. Not many food options. Their security check machine needs to get fixed. This was the first time I ever had to get checked for my private area. It wasn’t just me, I looked back and the two guys after me also had to get checked. One star off for that. When I first arrived in DC, it took an awfully long time for our luggage to come up onto the conveyor belt. Our flight was the very last one, so not sure what the hold up was. When we came back to the airport to go back to Chicago, I guess the airport was just snail-like because the crowd waiting for their luggage was massive. When you get towards your gate, it is nice that they have food, souvenirs, drinks, merchandise, etc on both sides of the walkway.
