Stayed for nearly 2 months while attending school. Overall experience is very pleasant. The staff at the front desk really go out of their way to ensure that everything is good. Building is showing signs of aging, and these rooms are renovated air force quarters. Had a few problems with the bathroom. Bathtub overflow cover broke when a shampoo bottle hit it, and the toilet whinned for about 2 days over a weekend, but the housekeeping reported it and fixed it very quickly without me even having to call it in. Parking is limited, but like I said, these used to be airforce barracks.

The night crew are not the best! Mr. Rosario extends the conversation too long, for customers to wait in the Lobby. Mrs. Kara greeted me, but did not offer to help me while I was waiting at the Lobby. I would hope the supervisors enforce more "customer service skills" training/courses in how to deal with customers! Please! JGM, Army/CG retired

Rooms were big enough for some that had the living room so I can’t complain. For space, but some rooms don’t have the living room space but still get charged the same price. (Makes no sense). I had to wash my own body towels from time to time because the smell from my towels didn’t give me a warm and fuzzy. Since my almost two month stay there, building 503 had two AC breaks, two power outages. No fire extinguishers on ANY of the floors. The laundry in multiple floors in 503 kept breaking. Also, the door handle broke one time to the common area, I had to figure out a way to get into the laundry room. By going down to another floor. Getting into their common area and walking up the stairs. The only thing separating the “airman dorms” and the hotel is a gazebo, which in my opinion is silly, they might as well make it all dorms. I’ve been in the military long enough to know that, older buildings comes issues. NOT A Problem, but you would think the staff would be more accommodating with their customers. Maybe asking them AFTER a whole 4 day power outage, asking How were their customers doing? Instead of blaming them like they are the problem. Which will lead me to service… If I could give service -5 stars I would. Only person that was helpful during my stay was Freddy and he worked night shift. The assistant manager was rude and not understanding what so ever for his customers. Stated “he needs to meet a quota!” When the air conditioners went out! Mind you rooms from numerous of personnel staying at this hotel averaged From 89 degree to 102 degrees! In Florida weather that’s UNSAT! Later to be told that the reading of the temperature was incorrect? But when asked “what happens when the ac isn’t broken?!?” The reading work then? While that was going on All the bystanders (Aka workers during Day shift) just stood there judging. Knowing well enough all of them were comfortable in their homes that same weekend the buildings AC went out. I have never written a negative review in my ENTIRE life, but this is my first and I feel the need to because of the way my situation was handled I needed to share this!!! There are locations off base Hilton and Marriott that are so much cheaper than what this hotel is charging. Would highly recommend if you had an option not to come here. If I could give my overall experience in the Space Coast Inn a 0 I WOULD. AND I know a hand full of personnel would too.

Very rude staff member. Her name is Nikki. She has terrible customer service. They shouldn't hire someone with such a bad attitude to provide service to military families.
