It's where the locals eat. Great food at a fair price. I've tried nearly every main entree and side and all is delicious. The steaks are big, flavorful, cooked the way you want it. Chicken fried steak with gravy is amazing. Fried catfish and shrimp hits the spot everytime. No beer is served but try the tea, freshly brewed and ice cold.

This place is a must stop for anyone in the College Station/Bryan area. The chicken fried steak is a must have combined with the fried okra and broccoli and cheese rice. This culinary delight will leave you wanting more and will create a legendary status in your mind as a perfect place for an amazing meal. Nicole was a delightful server who made us feel welcomed and served us with a smile! Don’t miss the best chicken fried steak in the land! You won’t regret it! Also, the pecan pie combined with a vanilla bean ice cream is a must for dessert.

We're in town for work. Read all the reviews, thought yeah, this will be ok for us. Yes, it was just that..OK. My dad had the steak, ordered it medium well. He enjoyed it. My son had the tenders and fries, he thought they were a little on the over fried scale. My "MOF" certainty very dry, no flavor, the gravy over salty to compensate. So big no no on rolls that you are going to charge for, make sure they are warm and not stale. Service was great, lovely waitress that Maddie! Also I was charged for ranch which should of come with the tenders, along with ketchup on to go orders. Maybe next time it will be better.

Well, what can I say? We thought we would come here and try some of the world famous chicken fried steak walked in the door at 7:41 immediately got greeted and sat 808 still sitting at the table nobody has even come over to introduce themselves as our waiter or waitress, so we just picked up and left generally not impatient but I think we waited long enough to be completely ignored. What a shame guess they do not need my families money or business.

First time I visited the restaurant, the food was amazing, and the service was excellent. The restaurant was clean. Smothered grilled pork chops where spot on the chicken fried steak was perfect. Sweet tea was fresh.
