Very nicely decorated and clean. The cost was $13 for the buffet, which is very reasonable! The food was good. There could have been more veggies for the salad. There was a large selection of desserts!

The selection of chicken dishes outnumber beef or pork dishes, and sometimes you can see some small shrimp in a dish. The spring rolls are the best in town. Overall the meal prep has improved this last year as if they have new cooks. I do find it odd that they don’t have a senior citizen discount, as most restaurants in Murray do,

Do not go here. If I could give less than one star I would. I understand there’s not a ton of places in Murray KY but trust me, drive out of town if you want good food and service. First off, coming in the door, the place was beautiful I will give it that but sadly the was the only good part about the place. We ordered buffet to go and the woman at the register looked like they hated us, charged ahead $33 and gave us the smallest to-go containers I’ve ever seen. After getting some pathetic looking food, we went to the counter to get our utensils and soy sauce, the woman looked at us like we were stupid and made us bag our own food, BEHIND THE COUNTER?. I really feel bad for the customers who didn’t order to go and had to sit in there and commit to this awful restaurant. Second, food was not really Chinese American, not a lot of variety, looked very dry and old. Lastly, if you want the BEST Chinese American food. GO TO PANDA GARDEN IN COOKEVILLE TN. It is always fresh, always packed, and always friendly. We were visiting Murray for vacation and I honestly would’ve rather ate closer to home than that place. This is NOT SPAM this is a legit review and me giving a better food option for those who want an awesome experience.

I was refused service last night because I had my service dog with me. I am a disabled veteran with a professionally trained service dog. I was informed I had to provide her "service dog ID", those are not required by the ADA nor are they a real thing (they can be bought all day as fakes online). When I attempted to calmly explain to the girl at the front she couldn't deny us entry she said that is the managers policy, she offered "to get the manager, but that's what he will say." I was embarrassed and ashamed for trying to go to dinner with my wife and my service dog. I chose to leave instead of making a scene. I will most definitely however never go back to August Moon and I will never recommend them to anyone either. Id rather never eat Chinese food again.
