They need to upgrade their fleet of busses. For the second year in a row we had to ride on a bus Again that had a malfunctioning air conditioner. It was in the 90s today and hot! Not good for a bus full of senior citizens! The fan worked, but very warm & stuffy. We had to ride almost 2 hours like that. A bus should have been swapped before we took off! Not after for travel home. Others on the bus were talking about another long trip with a Huber bus that had constant breakdowns, and a malfunctioning toilet that overflowed. Not good. Nice drivers but no more trips with Hubers for me.

July 15th a hot summer morning, I aboard one of these outdated bus to no air conditioning on our way to Atlantic City from Baltimore Maryland with my family on a friend trip. I immediately questioned the fact that the bus didn’t feel cold which it should for a hot summer day. One patron thought it could have been because the door was opened so I thought that could be reasonable. Then as we set preparing to ride off, it still wasn’t getting any colder. Then we tried to adjust the temperature overhead only for it to fall down on my family member and another patron. When I noticed this I tried to alert the bus driver but he continued to drive until I said your bus is falling apart and falling on people and that could be dangerous. He stopped the bus and came to the back of the bus to see what issue was, he said oh that can be screwed on but instead removed the vent cover. As the bus driver continued to proceed to Atlantic City we hoped that the bus would start to cool down once the bus was in motion. It cooled down for a few minutes and then we were looking for other ways to stay cool and even complaining to the bus driver. Myself and other patrons complained about the hot bus the only solution the bus driver had was opening the windows or lifting the emergency exit at the roof of the bus. We had to make a way to stay cool on an already paid bus. We tried to do other things to take our mind off of being on this hot bus. I don’t know when the bus driver got irritated with us the passengers but his driving changed a great deal. The driver should have been irritated with his self for first not doing a pre trip; he would have known the air wasn’t working properly and second because he had to dress in khaki and a sandpaper polo style shirt. Its very unfortunate this outdated bus lacks Bluetooth technology and the proper air conditioning to make this an enjoyable trip up 95. We made a stop in Delaware so that the other bus driver with the air conditioning bus could try to fix the bus with no air. Unfortunately the fix he thought he could make didn’t change what we already had endured.I am very disappointed with the service for this day and will not recommend this bus company to anyone. This bus company been around for years and this is not the treatment I was expecting. If I owned such a company, I would want to accommodate my customers so that I could get returning customers. I think it should be the duty of the driver, dispatch and management to assure your customers are satisfied. By doing this you generate revenue and revenue increases the appropriate changes to your fleet of buses. I would immediately notify dispatch of my customers concerns and do my best to arrange for another bus to meet at another location to change buses. This shows how much you appreciate the business received and be sure to use our service again and refer us to your friends and family. Unfortunately for this company I will never board another one of their bus or recommend this company to anyone

I would give a zero if I could. I have followed up with the county since Roberta was awful and called myself and my 9 year old daughter a liar. Down played the bus drivers mistake and acted like what he did was appropriate. They both need to lose their jobs. It’s very apparent they do not care about the kids safety.

Hubers has employed one amazing bus driver! My granddaughter rides on bus 145 with bus driver Kelly Carter. We have had Ms. Kelly for almost 2 yrs now and I can’t express what an amazing driver she is! I can tell you first hand she always puts SAFETY FIRST as she is a mom her self and I have been a passenger on Ms. Kelly’s bus for my sons middle school field trips. She is so amazing with the little ones and even special needs children , she loves these kids! I can tell you that I was very nervous about putting my than 4 yr old granddaughter on the bus, I had always drove my kids to and from school. From day one Ms. Kelly took the time to get to know the kids and us and reassured us they where going to be safe. I can’t tell you as a parent and a grandparent what a blessing Ms. Kelly is to us and all the children. She is truly in an amazing asset to the Hubers Bus Company.

If I could give 0 stars I would my daughters bus driver Ms Liz (bus 72) makes riding the bus the worst part of her day. If she doesn't have the temperament to deal with children she needs to change careers. I called the company based off the conversation I don't see anything being resolved. She will continue to yell at our kids and talk to them as if they are less than. While we taxpayers pay her salary. SAD.
