LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION I was looking for a place to stay near the airport, as I had a flight at O'Dark Thirty the next morning. I pulled into the parking lot of the excellently named Ho Hum Motel, and googled several other places that were more along the lines of where I would usually stay, but the prices were $140 + tax and up, and were further from the airport. Why pay more for the few hours I would be there, especially since there was no time for taking advantage of any amenities? I went in the office and paid $78 + tax = $85. The room was a throwback to when I traveled with my family back in the 60's. The TV was nothing special, there was an old style phone and old furniture. But the bed was comfy enough, the bathroom was clean, and I was able to park right outside my room. The time from leaving the room to being on airport property was at most 2 minutes. I'm a female, was traveling alone, and I felt safe. The neighborhood was OK, and the outside was well-lighted, which helped since I left before dawn. This is no fine resort, but for a night before my flight, it did the trick.

Great value for your money. We stayed in room 28. It was very clean. Shower was amazing, soap, toiletries were provided. Clean towels, sheets and pillows. Great location. Staff was really friendly and informative. Good WiFi, tv channels. Will definitely stay here again.

The front desk people were wonderful, helpful, accommodating and friendly. However the room and amenities were very sparse for the price you pay. There was no mini fridge, poor lighting, almost no wifi reception unless you stood by the front door, no map in the room to tell you where to get ice, barely-there hot water, mattresses were not terribly comfortable, and the tv sound quality was pretty bad. All in all, it was an ok stay in an ok motel. We have stayed here in the past and found this room to be not as nice as previous stays, so maybe we just got a bum room. Basically, it lives up to its name, ho hum.

Me and my wife have stayed here twice on the past few years. The first time was great, rooms where nice and the staff was friendly. The last time it was not even worth the money spent on it.

My first time in Vermont. $80 per night, very clean rooms. The shower pressure was the best. Good clean water. The room controlled thermostat heat was also top notch.
