Nice place if you don’t want to be near any restaurants or stores. We rode our motorcycle here on a chilly windy day. We were told we could check in at 3. Got to the place at 2:40 cold and tired. Our room was ready but the woman at the desk would not let us check in until 3. We literally sat outside waiting 20 minutes for no good reason. That is just poor business. We have stayed in many hotels around the US and Europe and never once have we waited for the exact hour to check in if our room was ready. We will not come back because of this. The room was ok. Plain but comfortable. Honestly, the check in process soured our experience. Edited to add after reading response: again, the room was ready. We actually saw that it was ready (we were told the room number when we made the reservation) and spoke with the sweet housekeeper. There was no reason to make us wait.

I’m adding another five star review to this wonderful hotel. The location and the view are perfect, the room was immaculate and the staff warm and professional. We will most certainly come again and will highly recommend it to anyone! Here are some views from our balcony.

Lovely, peaceful little property. The rooms are clean, spacious, warm with spectacular views. We didn't want to leave the room as we had everything we needed. Pet and kid friendly. Will be back.

What a great property. On the beach. Cliffs and rocks on either side. Historic. Great staff. Super friendly. Highly recommend!!!!

Wonderful weekend stay / getaway (mid-December). Well-maintained rooms and landscape overlooking the beach. Cozy rooms that are vintage yet updated. We look forward to our next stay. 2 thumbs up!
