I had just spent a full day traveling with a layover in O'Hare, and I finally got home around 5:30pm. I hadn't had a lot of time to stop and eat anything apart from whatever snacks were served on the plane. My mom had picked me up, & upon hearing that I was hungry, she brought me straight downstairs to Cask & Barrel. Neither one of us had been there, but she thought it looked nice. The server, Alisha, was happy to accommodate my gluten sensitivity by making me a wrappless wrap. Everything was served in a timely manner, and Alisha checked on us to make sure everything was good- and it very much was! All told, we paid about $36 including tip, for 2 turkey wraps & a HUGE basket of chili cheese fries, half of which we had to take to go. Alisha was very nice, and the service & food was fantastic for a great price. Made the trip home even better, and much easier.

So, I stumbled on this little place this morning, pre security at Bradley airport. It's a small, cozy spot, with a pretty good beer selection, and somewhat less inspired food menu. But, the wedge salad is amazing, and I'm sure the options they do have are tasty. But the stand out was my bartender, friendly, personable, and very knowledgeable. I cant remember his name, but he was on point with the beer choices, and explained every IPA in the cooler, along with it's style, it's hop bill, and what he'd reccomend. I was there for about an hour, and we talked barbecue (I'm a backyard smoker myslef) apparently he does it professionally. Great ambiance, solid food, and a really pleasant experience while waiting for a ride. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the dated look of the place, but I wont take off stars for that. Defenitely check this place out if you're stuck in Bradely, it's a little hidden gem.

I ordered the chicken fingers and they were the biggest portions I ever had. The place is clean and the workers were very lively and talkative. Price is a little high but that is what all airport places do.

I had a great meal and the service that Alisha provided was great! She was prompt and very knowledgeable about the beers on tap. She was very good about making sure that I didn’t need anything else, and if I did she was right there to take care of it. Alisha was by far an excellent server and bar tender.

Sitting here trying to eat and I have an employee Jonathan Shivak is constantly complaining about his hours. Complaining so much sat for 10 minutes and had to wait for an employee to assist me. Again still complaining and no service. Unbelievable.
