Absolutely beautiful hotel! Our room was on the corner (suite). Beautiful view out every window. Lots of light, you can see the Columbia lying in bed, from the soaking tub, and a nice sitting/ living area with windows on two sides. A small walk out balcony as well. Staff were friendly and helpful. The spa was amazing!!! If you like facials/ massages, or if you’ve never tried a spa, go to this one. Very private and staff if excellent. Light fare breakfast is included with the room, as was a 25$ per day food and beverage credit. The crab dip appetizer was a large portion, with lots of crab and bread, vegetables, etc. They have a wall of history with great photos of Astoria. They also had a nice book with the hotel’s history and binoculars to view the birds, boats, bridge, sparkling Columbia. The city of Astoria is also lovely. Many, many things to do here!

We just stayed in June. The views from our room were fantastic. The room itself was designed with good taste and convenience in mind. Everything about our room was perfect...the pillows, bed, soaking tub, robes, coffee bar, fancy shower - everything! The hotel is offering a free breakfast including an omelet bar, cookies at 7 PM and a wine bar from 7 to 10 with a credit to offset some of the cost. Everywhere you go in this hotel has a wonderful view. We felt pampered. Some services that we were offered, we did not use, but there is a spa with hot tub and sauna as well as a Vintage car to take you to special places in town. The location is close to the river walk and the trolley. Great fun!

We stayed with our children for one night. The views are absolutely incredible - we have travelled a lot and seen nothing like them. The special touches like the vintage cars and John the great driver; fresh cookies and milk; Janey taking the family photo at the end and framing it. We would definitely return! Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing hotel. The rooms are comfortable, the views amazing. It's great to see the same employees each time we come. The driver of the car is so friendly and kind. The made to order omelets is a great breakfast start. The restaurant on site has many delightful choices. We enjoyed the flat bread and several of the dessert options.

Be careful and make sure you call and specify exactly what you think you’re booking is what you actually get. We came out here for our 30th wedding anniversary weekend. My wife loves jacuzzi tubs and so I deliberately booked a suite that was supposed to be a full view over the water so she could soak and enjoy the view as an anniversary gift to her. Instead we got here and discovered that we are on the back corner directly over the parking lot. There is a little view from a corner of the living room of the suite of the river and more of the Astoria shoreline (which includes views of cheap hotels and parking lots. Not scenic). The bedroom and bathroom are both full views of the parking lot. She can soak in the tub enjoying a wonderful view of the back side of a holiday inn express. Can’t use either room without the blinds being closed. We were charged the full price for the rooms with a view (nearly $650 a night with tax etc) despite being put into a cheaper room. The hotel chalked it up to a “glitch” on the website that they have been “trying to fix”. They ultimately charged us the lower price when we complained. Maybe it was a legitimate mistake but it feels like a scam. Bottom line: I won’t come back and I will not recommend it to others. The entire point of this hotel is the location out on the water and the impressive views. Without that it’s an okay, not particularly remarkable, average hotel. Without those views the website touts so aggressively, it is ridiculously overpriced and not even close to worth the stay. Again, buyer beware.
