Although in a non smoking room, you guessed it smelled. They give you two pieces of fruit this is not breakfast. They have had 9 months now to figure this out, although the bed was comfortable the pillows are beyond wore out. The ceiling fan was a very nice addition to the room to help with the Texas humidity.

We were displaced from the hurricane last week and were 5 days without power. Since we have 2 tiny dogs, we were unable to find any hotels in town to accept both us and our furbabies. We called the Best Western Executive Inn in Marshall and they happily accepted the 4 of us. There was a pet deposit, $20 per dog which we felt was more than reasonable. We pulled up and it’s not the spiffiest looking from the outside, but don’t judge a book by its cover. The lady who checked us in was polite and she gave us a room on the bottom floor next to the grass so we didn’t have to go up and down the stairs with the dogs and we could easily take them out multiple times a day. For the room, the prices were fair. I read some other reviews and as far as our room is concerned, all of the outlets worked. They gave us extra pillows as requested. All appliances worked well and the jacuzzi tub and bathroom were really nice as was the king sized bed and AC. They didn’t serve a hot breakfast bc of the pandemic but you could still go by in the morning and get some complimentary snacks for breakfast. All in all it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely keep them in mind not only when we’re in a bind but to also stay as a little getaway. The entire staff was polite and friendly and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. We will be returning soon!

I always stay here anytime I am visiting family in Texas. It's always clean and a safe place to spend the night. Thanks for continuing to offer a great stay each visit.

This hotel was awesome ... The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful and such a sweetheart .... She printed me out driving directions to Nixon Texas ☺ the room was nice and clean and comfy so I recommend if your traveling and need a quick overnight rest this is the hotel for you ... Quick access to fuel and food ... Don't forget your mask !! ☺ Thank you Marshall Texas ... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great value for the price. Couple minor problems with the room but nothing the attentive staff couldn't handle and they did promptly. They even called us to tell us we left of our own pillows behind after checkout and since we were in town we were able to come back and get it. A pleasant experience overall.
