As always Matsuhisa delivers but at the slightly below what you expected level. Don’t get me wrong the food was on point and the service was solid but for what you pay I expect a truly exceptional experience. However it is probably the best sushi in aspen so definitely worth a stop

Favorite restaurant in Aspen. The food quality is unparalleled. Obsessed with the miso cod. Disappointed the green tea wasn’t served with a separate tea pot like in Japan but you can’t have everything, ehe!

Great experience. We got the omakase, tried a little of everything. One was as good as the next. Good drink menu also. Service was on point. Very happy will go back whenever I can.

Excellent experience at the newly reopened Aspen Matsuhisa Upstairs sushi counter. First, the restaurant space is perfect combination of elevated design and casual feel. The menu was straightforward and simple. Plenty of beverage options. Very easy if you’re vegan or plant based. I had salad, eggplant, and a couple sushi rolls. You can ask for soy paper if you don’t like seaweed. Service was efficient and generous.

Went for dinner here but not out first time. We always visit this restaurant when we go to Aspen. Always make reservations lol. The food is amazing. We ordered all kids of food and it was all good. At the end we ordered shaved ice dessert which was really good as well. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.
