1. A move from Michigan to Florida. For starters we had a reservation 2 to 3 months in advance. I received emails from you folks that said all was confirmed. 2 weeks prior I called to confirm. All was good. 1 day before I called and they didn’t have the trailer but said it would be there first thing in the morning. This would be Hunter. Showed up, it wasn’t there nor was Hunter who had the day off. I was told they were not sure if they could get one. Then the place they were supposed to get it from had 2 but busted fenders and they couldn’t get it for me. So then it became we will do our best to get it today. I had to be on the road by noon. So then I had to get pretty stern that I needed it and I needed it by noon. By then Travis (who was filling in by the way just for the day, that wasn’t his home base) said take the truck do what you need to do and load it and I will get you a trailer. However was not willing to bring it to me, I would have to come there and pick it up. I called at 10:00 he was still working on it. Finally called me roughly around 11:00 and did get me one but it should have NEVER gone down this way. 2. The truck was filthy inside and out, never cleaned prior to me receiving it. It stunk inside and had pet hair, food droppings and hadn’t been wiped down in a very long time, inside or out. It was down right gross. At this point I had no choice and had to take it and go. Not sure I will ever rent from you guys again 3. To add insult to injury their credit card reader was not working. I had to use a card that I made the reservation with that I didn’t want to use. Travis worked on trying to get it working for over 20 minutes. He had to just run it through the computer. So the long and short of it Travis did his best, was a trooper and was thrown into a horrible situation. Hunter dropped the ball and did nothing. Left me with no trailer a filthy truck to drive and a broken credit card machine. . I will never rent from you folks again. This was so horribly stressful. Hunter really dropped the ball and dropped it in a bad way. The truck was disgusting and the trailer issue should have never happened.

Meghan and Anna were great! It was a quick and easy process, great deal, and helpful service. Boxes and packing supplies are also a decent deal here. The boxes are large with handles. We had already bought our boxes and packing tape, but wished we would have waited.

My husband and I reserved a 16 foot truck to be picked up at 7:30AM of June 12, 2019. When we got there at 7:30AM, no employee was there to open the shop. There were 3 additional customers waiting with us. 30 minutes later, no employee showed up. It is absolutely frustrating to tell us to come by at 7:30AM to pick up the truck when no one was there. We ended up calling customer service with other customers to see what is going on. Even customer service wasn't able to locate the person in charge. Another employee from another Penske location had to come check on this location to make sure things are okay yet they cannot help us check out a truck. I do not recommend working with this store. If your store hours say that you open at 7:30AM, you better be there starting your work hours at 7:30AM. This store location is incompetent. You do not make customers wait for than 45 minutes. Penske was able to get us another truck at a separate location that was already opened.

Was informed that my pickup at 8am would be ready. When I showed up to the building around 810am there was no one on-site. All doors to the building were locked. All trucks in the lot untouched. Tried contacting the local office number and it rang continuously to no avail. Contacted Penske Customer Service and even they were confused as to why no one was at the building, since the building states it should be open at 7am. Still waiting for word and availability on my truck reservation. Unbelievable that reservations are handled this way and no one is on-site an hour after they claim to be open.

We reserved a moving truck weeks ago for our cross country move. We thought all was fine, until we arrived 90 whole minutes after our reservation started (when they opened, at 8 this morning). Because we got there at 9:30, they had already given our truck to someone else, reservation be damned. There was no warning at the time we made our reservation, and nothing in the confirmation email that indicated that we'd be screwed out of a truck if we didn't literally beat the staff to the building. Their justification is that it's the busiest moving week of the year and we weren't there right when the reservation started. Even so, can you imagine if you arrived at a hotel 90 minutes after the office opened to find they gave the room you reserved ahead of time to someone else? That would never happen (or, more appropriately, it would only happen at a really crappy hotel). Luckily for us UHaul had a similar truck available, so we've taken our business to them and won't be left completely high and dry. Thanks for the extra stress that we totally needed the day before a major move, Penske!
