Reviews for Bay Country Rentals

We rented a dunk tank from Bay county last year for a week for our local youth baseball and softball league fundraiser at the Mason Dixon Fair, the seat was replaced with wood and wouldn't stay latched causing people to fall when trying to get seated and when trying to climb out of the tank, it leaked water and the target arm was bent. After multiple volunteers said someone was going to get hurt we called and told them it was too dangerous for us to continue to use. We were treated horribly and told it should never have been rented to use at the fair, when we discussed the reason and location for use when we called to reserve the tank and again when we picked it up. We were told multiple times a refund check was in the mail but 10mos later still no refund.

I used this company over the past weekend for my granddaughters Garden Party and they were awesome ! They stayed in commu ication about the delivery schedule, set up a tent and moonbounce flawlessly and the return on Monday was effortless. The customer service was excellent! I will be using these guys again. They are Rock Stars!

Our business with this company started with my wife calling to discuss the rental of a 12" wood chipper to handle yard debris and trees we have cut down. We have rented a 6” chipper from Aces Hardware in the past and are familiar with their use. The attendant kept asking her to elaborate what we would be using the chipper for (obviously wood, but mainly tree debris of various sizes anywhere up to 12”). After the discussion my wife let me know they had a 12” chipper available for rental and just needed a deposit to reserve it. I called them and explained that my wife already spoke to her about our interest in reserving the chipper. The lady then asked me to elaborate on what we would be using it for (it was like going out to eat at a restaurant and having the server try to tell you what you wanted instead of the other way around). My wife and I both had the impression that the attendant thought we were either inexperienced or unintelligent. After describing in detail what the chipper would be used for, finally I asked if I could just give her the money to reserve it. The attendant told me that I couldn’t chip anything above 11," which was fine because that was what we expected with renting a 12” chipper, and we already knew that some of the debris would not be chip-able. I expected certain restrictions on the machine, which you have for most rentals. We ended the phone call with the machine reserved for use for 24 hours. Thirty minutes afterwards, I received a call back from the attendant stating that they would be refunding my money because they were not allowing me to rent the machine; the owner changed his mind because he thought we would be using the chipper in a way that it wasn’t meant for (chipping pieces of wood that would be too big for it to handle, I suppose, despite our detailed account otherwise). This was extremely confusing and frustrating, as we had been searching for a larger chipper for a while and thought that we had found a solution. I am not sure under what circumstances this company would rent the 12” chipper out. In addition, if the owner was unsure of how we would use it, he should have called us back directly to discuss it with us rather than having his employee just cancel the reservation. As a result of this experience, we will not be renting any equipment from this place in the future, and we would encourage others who want a simple, straightforward rental to look elsewhere as well. We have had many drama-free dealings with Ace Hardware in the past, and we would gladly return to them to do business. Luckily, this story has a happy ending, as we found a 12” chipper from United Rental that we will be using, and we didn’t have to play 20 Questions to be able to rent it.

They are open 6 days a week there. Normal working hours for anybody. They rent those Moonwalks, that the kids jump in for parties. Stump grinders, saws of all kinds, rollers, trailers of different sizes obviously to move the different and many kinds of minimum too heavy equipment that they rent. Now inside of course, for those wishing to get married. Or have one hell of a party outdoors in any weather. There are pole tents, chairs, Fountain servers, cotton candy makers, things to make a wedding enjoyable or as I said a party. Just the other day I was there filling up my propane tank for Grill and of course I always get my calendar . as for those pole tents, they can become very very very very large, and I know the fellas go out and set them all up. Enjoy check it out

I called about a post driver and he kept asking me what project I was working on. So I told him I was driving a 4 inch post into the ground. And he says no all we have is augers. Then he says you're guna need a bobcat to do that. And I said so for your augers I need a Bobcat. And he says no you're not listening to me. Don't tell me I'm not listening to you when you're not wording things correctly. We will rent tools else where.
