Adorable theater turned movie theater. Mostly small/indie releases, with occasional blockbusters. Saw Dune 2 there and was very happy with the experience. Staff was friendly and super knowledgeable about movies without being pretentious or making me feel dumb for not calling them "films". I will definitely come back.

For many years, this has been one of my favorite movie theaters. It's unique and beautiful and approachable. There are 3 theater houses in this two story building and all have the beautiful Meso American influence design. The staff is always welcoming and warm. Keep in mind the theater is an older building so the seats are small if you have long legs. The stairs in the smaller houses upstairs are also quite petite. Plenty of parking in back and across Broadway street. I love this cinema house - it's a Denver treasure ❤ 📽

Has a real charm (same as Lakeside lol). But the staff is kind and amazing. You’re there for the ambiance. My favorite was the woman in front of me who needed two glasses of wine for herself to get through the film Kinds of Kindness. I understood why after watching it. 10/10 would return

Nice clean theater. Not many people frequent this theater it doesn’t seem. Atmosphere was nice. They stayed on the Mayan theme through the entire theater. Good experience

First time at the Mayan Theatre and boy was it the beginning! Saw Poor Things and got popcorn and a Moscow Mule at the bar. The theatre staff were very knowledgeable about the showings and the facility was neat and it’s beautiful inside and out! Movie quality was great. Will be returning soon!
