I’ve spent a lot of time at Harkins, and one thing I can easily say is that their concession items can be very cheap if you take advantage of their loyalty program. I’m a pretty cheap person, and I don’t have a lot of money. You can easily go to the movies even so. Firstly, at Box Office they offer student, senior and military discounts for what I believe to be $10 before 6pm. Their loyalty program is completely free and gives you $5 awards on your birthday and as you accumulate points with your purchases. They have what’s called a popcorn perk where you get 36 popcorns or a year's worth depending on what you use up first for ONLY $30. That’s 80 cents a popcorn! Every time you go in you get a free medium popcorn and an option to upgrade for a few more dollars to the large or extra large. That’s a HUGE money save. The loyalty cups are up to $3 but it’s still cheaper than buying a $9 soda every time you go in. Like I said, cheap options. I love the environment of Harkins. They have lots of appearing standees and posters and the trailers played in the lobby. The building is very clean, including the restrooms, and the leather seats are wonderful. They have a bar in the lobby where you can take your drinks into the movies. Sometimes when I’m running late the concession crew will offer to bring my hot foods to me in the theater. They have a ton of accessible food and more candy than I’ve seen a theater offer. I’ve noticed that their candy options change every once in a while but the most popular ones are always around. I hope one day they bring back Twix. But one thing I think is super important on the menu that they lack is a cleaner food option. All of their food is greasy, and they used to have plates with meat, cheese, fruit and veggies that they got rid of. I used to buy those all the time. It would be really good if they brought something back that wasn’t so greasy or fattening that was similar to that food option. That being said, their popcorn beats Regal and AMC easily. It’s always fresh. Their chicken sandwiches are delicious as well. Their staff is very kind and helpful, though sometimes it seems that they need more people running the stand, and they don’t exit-greet like they used to because there seems to be a lack of people able to clean the theaters. The Arvada location of Harkins seems to be less crowded and more considerate. There’s a Texas Roadhouse across the way, which is great because you can get some food and go to the theater right after. Fun date night! As a last thought, they should bring back refills on large drinks when you’ve spent $7.75. I think these few recommendations I’ve made would make the overall appeal to Harkins that much more considerate. It’s a great place overall to see a movie and meet a few friends.

We drove up to Arvada to see Escaping Germany at the Harkin theater on Mother s Day. I think this was the nicest theater I have been in in aaaages. The bathroom was beautiful and clean, the lobby was clean, the theater seats were incredibly comfortable and NOT sticky. They reclined nicely (perfect for my spine injury) and we loved the small theater the film was showing in. The pretzel and Nachos were delicious. It's quite a drive for us from CRock but I would go back there again. 😀

Such great service. Had an issue with purchasing tickets online, called the theater and they helped me get the seats I originally requested. I also had another issue with an extra ticket and they helped with that as well. Thank you for the Above and beyond service! I will definitely come back to this theater!

Check in was a little odd, they scanned at front desk and then printed me two tickets. But it was a slow time of day 4:15 on a weekday afternoon. The place was very clean and has been remodeled so they have a bar and serve hamburgers and some other real food, obviously to compete with other chains that are doing that. Had a large popcorn , was good. Movie played a big theater with recliners and was very enjoyable. The noise was a perfect level, not always the case at other theater chains. Staff were very helpful in helping us, when we thought we lost a of keys, looking in and under the reclining seats for us!

Went to the movies with a friend and saw Cabrini. Excellent movie, the theater was clean, the seats were comfortable. I love that the temperature was just right, because most places it's so cold in the theater and those reclining seats just topped it off. We had a great experience because this was only our second time visiting this theater. They have excellent popcorn but as you know the refreshments are always overpriced.
