Our party of four went here on a Friday night. There was live entertainment outside on the patio. They were awesome. The patio is huge with an outdoor bar and plenty of tables which are very uniquely made. I want one. We had chicken, fish fry, and steak sandwiches. Everything was good. Our waitress was so friendly and kept track of us well, despite being super busy. You could tell she loves her job. I am from Michigan, but definitely want to return to this place. The owner was also there and touched base with us asking if everything was ok. That is impressive. The music kept us staying well after supper. Check this place out---you will love it. I think they only have music on the weekends though, so call ahead to see about that if that's important to you.

We have been a customer for 5 years and once Miki Jo left everything has went downhill fast. Food use to get out in 30-45mins at the longest. Now expect 2 hours. The last three times we went.. 1) I ordered fish and chips. And I got a fish sandwich given to me. The waitress questioned me on the fish and chips and I had to tell her it was on the menu. But still came out wrong. 2) Asked for a medium rare burger and got a well done burger. 3) I got the Southwest Egg rolls they were still really cold inside. If I am going to wait that long I best be getting my food the right way, correct. I worked in the kitchen and bar at Afton Alps for 10 years and know how the food industry works. You want fast and quality food. If your not fast make sure the quality is good. You want people to leave happy. And Miki Jo was that she got the food out at a decent time, some how made the best fried food we have ever had, and was also able to bring out our food and chat. The patio is great. But if the food is bad and the wait is long. It just doesn’t make up for it. If your going for drinks you’ll be fine. And I hear they are adding a bigger kitchen, but a bigger kitchen doesn’t make a better cook or host so.. we willing to try anywhere else if this is how things are going. Miki Jo made that place!

Best burgers around!! Tip: get the large burger. It's way too much food but the large versions taste better! Also, if you cut it in half it's almost 2 meals. If you end up eating the whole thing, you won't be able to do anything afterwards other than nap!

The outdoor patio is one of the nicest in the area to visit with friends. Sadly, after waiting for a Bleu Cheese and Bacon burger for over 2 hours, our server told us that our order had never been sent to the kitchen. Others around us received their food including staff. I hope the owners can figure out how to serve people.

Love the mixup. Great food and drinks. Liz is doing a great job as the new owner. Expanding the kitchen for faster service for food, and the new patio with live music is a great addition on the weekends.
