This is a pretty cool swamp! Nice elevated walkways along with traditional paths. A nice place to stop off if you have a little time to kill before getting on an airplane at the nearby regional airport. The small visitors center was closed when I visited. Found a sleeping alligator, and lots of bird and insect life.

Really great park in my opinion. The boardwalk is well maintained and scenic, saw my first alligator in the wild, and there were plenty of dragonflies to keep the gnats off my back. I'm glad this area is being preserved.

If you are ever in the area and looking for a scenic place to hike, nature watch or sit and enjoy the sunshine then this is the place for you. There are walking paths for miles, ponds inhabited by alligators and all the birds, squirrels, chipmunks and other critters you could want to see. The silos were super neat as well. I would definitely come back for another visit if I found myself in the area again.

It's a great place to take in nature, get some walking in, and see wild alligators. There are many path options to choose from and you can walk a little or spend the day there. It's free to enter and has facilities, restrooms, picnic areas, and a playground. It's all flat walking, so no hills. If it's cool out when you head out, dress in layers because it gets hot in the sun. I gave 4 stars because some of the boardwalk boards are rotten and needs to be replaced before someone gets hurt. If you or someone in your group has diabetes be extra cautious of your footing. I definitely want to go back and follow more of the trails. Have fun!

A wonderful park with different trails to explore. I went on a Wednesday afternoon, parking is easily available and it’s free. I did only 2 trails, both were easy and unique in its own way. Not many people on the trails, also feels little spooky. Absolutely recommend spending time here listening to bird chirps and feeling that forest breeze. Didn’t found an alligator but saw a beautiful owl, wasn’t able to take picture of the owl but I’ll add some pictures of the park below. Overall 8/10.
