Rented a full size truck at Washington DC airport and drive to Pittsburgh. Mid way got the maintenance required alarm. When tried to return it at this budget location, the gentleman at the desk had no way of handling the reservation fine at a different location. Had to call then and resolve the issue.

The car smelled like a stale pack of newports, the passenger seat had a stain on it, inside car was gross, windshield wipers didn’t work, and when I told the man working these things when dropping off the vehicle he told me his wife cleaned the vehicle and had different “standards of clean” than he did… he also told me if I would’ve bought wipers and changed them out he would have reimbursed me … I was on a 7 hour road trip with my 9 year old son … his other advice was to call the 1800 number…I am now on hold for an hour the second time around to get no where … worst rental company I have ever used …. Highly recommended finding a different location or business to rent from and save yourself the headache .

Picked up a car from this location and made sure to book a smoke free car. When we received the car it smelled like a pack of cigarettes were smoked in it. The odor is terrible. Budget has not done anything to resolve the situation and keeps transferring me to another representative. Do not rent from Budget, go to another rental car company that will provide customer support

Just make sure you call the location after you make the reservations before you waste the trip. I made a reservation a day ahead of time for 11 AM But when I went to pick up the car they told me they were sold out without even looking up my reservation even though there was a lot full of cars outside. I even spoke to the manager on the phone in the car rental place and he told me that I would have to come back after 2. But my sons had a basketball tournament out of town and I needed to be on the road by 12. I explained this to the manager and asked him if he would call another location and see if maybe they had a car available, but he told me he was too busy. I then called customer service who at first didn't understand why my reservation wasn't being honored either but she immediately offered for me to drive all the way out to the airport, a whole hour out of my way, plus another hour to find parking for my vehicle and another 45 waiting for a shuttle to get to the main terminal to pick up the rental. No thank you, how about you all just honor my reservation at the location I reserved at. After sitting in the parking lot on the phone with customer service for what seemed like an hour, I just had them cancel the reservation and drove my truck. Way to go Budget. STEER CLEAR!

Yesterday I ordered and paid for a car rental with budget online. Well today I showed up for 1:pm pickup. I waited there with many others and it was forever ! The woman working was great. I was going to be charged $ 78.00 at pick up no ! After long wait they needed to charge Me👇 $200.00 to drive off lot. Why??? I left after cancelling
