The hotel is under construction, and there are axle-endangering potholes in the parking lot, but it's still a nice place to stay. Right across the street is the Shops at Briargate, which has all kinds of dining options and fun shops to browse. The only thing that's keeping me from giving my stay five stars is that the mattress in my room felt like it had welcomed quite a full number of guests. Hopefully part of their renovation plans include replacing all the mattresses. The staff members were excellent, though -- very friendly. However, I usually stay at Hilton's Hampton Inn properties, where breakfast is included in your stay, so I felt some sticker shock at the breakfast menu prices.

I am there now and what a disappointment. I could camp in my car and have a better experience. When I booked it I was never told that they were renovating. No pool no hot tub, no breakfast and I ordered a hamburger and it was almost raw not to mention I specifically ask for no pepper and there was pepper. My door will not lock and I am here for four days of hell. Hilton has gone down hill don't waste your money.

While it's slightly inconvenient with remodeling taking place, my overall stay was nice. The evening front desk agent was especially gracious and helpful. Once remodeling is complete the hotel will be fantastic. Thank you HGI for remodeling and being gracious at the same time.

If you're staying in Colorado Springs, I would recommend staying somewhere else. We showed up to the hotel to check in and we were told our room wasn't ready so we'd have an ADA room. The receptionist stated it would be for one night which I had to correct him and tell him i reserved a room for multiple nights. I was in town for a wedding for a three night stay and the hotel was under construction (not aware that would be the case when we booked). The pool was out of service, you had to pay extra for the breakfast that was comical to charge extra for.

This hotel is currently under construction and nobody told us. Normally it wouldn't be big deal but our daughter was having surgery up the road at children's hospital, and my wife and I wanted to be able taking turns cleaning up and resting at the hotel while the other was with our daughter for a couple nights. They had signs in the elevator saying renovations in progress and to excuse the noise from 8am-7pm. When I asked the attendant at the front desk if we could get a room further away from the noise, they said no because they were all booked up. The ice machine was down for the floor we were on, rather frustrating. The rooms come with free continental breakfast but all that gave you access to was bagels and cereal, if you wanted anything warm you had to pay extra. The room was a newly renovated room except they used the same old toilets, and the one we had kept the water running. Several times I had to take the lid off of the top tank and get the chain to a length that it would still flush but not let the water run continuously. The parking was terrible because they had 20 of the shipping containers and a roll off dumpster taking up a lot of space. In my opinion I would just stay down the road at the Holiday Inn, at least you can get some warm food with the continental breakfast and save some money!!! The nights we were there was the 2nd and 3rd of April 2024.
