Brought my mom in for a renewal and looked at the email concerning her appt we saw we needed two forms of id. On the website it says a medical insurance card is acceptable also ng with phot id. Lady at desk proceeds to tell us insurance cards won't work. Website and office need to have the same information and not different information.

So I go to Peterson MPF for a walk in because they have no appointments available until the end of July, a SSgt Hoval says, sir our walk-ins end at 1200 (its 1207 btw so yeah got me there) but I’ll try to get you in but it may be about an hour. You should go to Schriever they have no wait.” So I blaze to Schriever (man my wife called it). Walk in to Schriever MPF…. sign states DEERS down no CaC issues… I talk to A1C Reotta…. “How is your DEERS down but Peterson’s is not? They just sent me to you?” He states they’ve been down all day and told them this morning but doesn’t understand how Peterson is issueing CaC cards….. I drive and am currently back at Peterson to see and talk to SSgt Harvel…. She is gone and her A1C is working. “Are you guys issueing CaC cards and am I still in line?” Yes you are in line and yes we are doing CaC cards, so why is Schriever down? Schriever is not down… they just told me they are I just came from there…. Oh they just went down that’s right…. No they’ve been down all day why do you send us there? “Sir please have a seat and we will try to get to you”…… The lady next to me has been here for 4 hours….. DEERS outage btw was true and happened worldwide at 1000, was resolved and restored at 1032 per the DEERS email that went today 😳. I attempted no less than 25 calls to three different listed numbers to try and speak to someone to no avail….one number is always busy or just fails. The other has a recording that just puts you into an endless loop of the same 3 options before forcing a recording and/or dropping the call. Currently 1442 I am number 4 in a que of 5 at the moment and they’re averaging 2/3 people per hour. Forecast your MPF needs months in advance and make sure you book the entire day, or be a Lt Col and get helped right away (that has happened 3 times already). Cheers!

A few weeks ago I brought my wife in to renew her ID card. While there the gentleman in the front took my ID card and attempted to make me a new one but could not. Today I attempted to enter PAFB and was locked in by the Security Force because my card was terminated. Held for about 10 minutes like a criminal at the east gate. I was told to go to the ID card section. When I arrived I logged in on the kiosk and proceeded to the desk. There I was told they would try to get me in. I had a medical appointment to get to. I asked to speak to someone in charge and the person at the desk said she was. I asked to speak to the officer in charge. After speaking to her she said to have a seat. I was then called back by a sergeant who was lecturing me on my attitude in public and again told to have a seat after advising her I had a medical appointment. After a while I was called back where they had no idea why my card was terminated. I was issued a new card and I thanked the airperson. This would not have occurred if my card was not terminated the day I came in with my wife. I understand what the security force did, there job but why my card terminated two weeks prior is beyond me.

The legal office needs to update automated telephone and website information or have an actual human answer the phone. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude when we walked in to have something notarized without an appointment, although online AND telephone automation tells us you don't need one and can simply walk in during business hours.
