I went and saw a children's musical Snoopy play and it was very good and a lot of fun it was a little bit over 2 hours long with intermission they had free pop and popcorn in water free will donation if you like and they did have wine 🍷 also but wasn't sure if you had to pay for that one or not anything you cannot take any open containers in the seating area but you can take water bottles that have lid closures in all cell phones must be turned off or on vibrate during the show I had a great time and I will be glad to go to another show and a different time thank you for the great experience.

Much better projection than the mall theater, good prices, historic location. Sadly not much of an arthouse theater anymore. The theater regularly gets movies already playing at the other theater in town and often neglects to find a way to bring smaller movies to town, which I thought had been part of the intention behind the location. I've requested movies nominated for the Oscars this year for example, and was told the theater couldn't get those movies because they were in limited release or only on streaming. None of the movies were streaming exclusives, and the following weekend, almost every one of the movies I'd mentioned expanded into wide release. There are occasional programming bright spots, like The Fabelmans, which I didn't expect the theater to end up getting, but more often than not, the choices are missing the mark lately. It's a shame that the theater will be getting 80 For Brady, but has no chance of getting Oscar nominees The Whale, Women Talking, and already having missed several others. While I expect that the Capitol is trying to get more mainstream movies played in order to pack the house, which is understandable, the Capitol is losing a lot of patrons by forcing people to choose between their location and the mall. Varying programming would allow me to give money to the theater much more regularly. I'd love to support both, but the programming needs to be there.

What a nice theater! I saw a movie there that our other larger theater didn't show. The building on the outside and inside is a real gem. It is an old classic theater. The show I saw was in their smaller theater, which looked brand new. It was beautiful and the seats were comfortable. All of the seats have really great views. It cost $9 for the show and you could make a donation to get a can of pop and/or popcorn. The picture/screen was top notch and the sound fantastic. I will definitely go back soon!

Definately check this place out. The historic woodwork and amazing talent that this place put on production is amazing. Highly recommend a show or movie.

Much nicer facility than the mall theaters. It is clean, and the popcorn is good. Prices are more than reasonable. Plus, they pick interesting films that don't always make it to smaller communities.
