Our neighborhood association just completed a trash cleanup that included Store #11959. We found over 20 used needles on the store property in addition to several bags of trash and piles of human feces. The manager said he didn't have the resources to clean up. Please step up and be a good neighborhood partner and devote some resources to making this a safe area rather than somewhere a child can step on a used syringe.

The pharmacist told me they never got my refill request, but they refilled some of the prescriptions that were on the same order. He told me to come back the next day and it would be ready. I went back and it was the same guy. He claimed he never spoke to me and that they don’t have that medication at all. I complained and said “it’s always something with this pharmacy”. He then proceeded to call the manager back and lie to her about the interaction (he said I cursed at him) so he could hide in the back and they could “refuse service”. I see no need for me still having service being as they don’t even have the medication. Don’t waste your time coming here, they are closed random days and random hours anyways.

Because of how these corporate chains work I always wonder if there's a General Manager who has previously only worked at a Suburban Walgreens where the biggest issue was an over-entitled housewife who insisted on using expired coupons but was then transferred to this location on Central and San Mateo and now has to deal with public defecation, vomiting, and customers with obvious mental/drug problems on an hourly basis. I also wonder if that Walgreens employee just goes home and stares at the ceiling all night wondering what they've done with their life.

I'm a Healthcare Professional I went to make a purchase, I stood at the register waiting for cashier. Noone ever came, I saw a worker stocking, he was wearing a tan shirt and looked homeless, I asked him if he could get a cashier and the totally ignore me. So I left my merchandise on the counter and walked out. I will never make the mistake of going there again. So RUDE.

This Walgreens is the last bastion of what was once a beautiful neighborhood in Albuquerque NM. They work their butts off to keep their doors open to server this community as the Last Corner Store / Pharmacy near San Mateo and Central. The customers they deal with on an hourly basis are a difficult rung of society to say the least. They deal with drugs, theft, feces, violence all without a single “thank you”. I’ve seen some of the reviews criticizing them for not having meet certain standards here in Nob Hill but I would personally like to thank each one of these employees for working diligently to keep their doors open for this community. I see you and know your worth.
