Man oh man oh man! It is finger licking good!! I stopped in here for some great BBQ and so glad I did! The brisket is so moist, it's an outdoor seating area fyi, decent parking but worth it because this has to be the best BBQ in Abilene! Wow it was good, get the ribs too!

Simply delicious. We arrived around 11:30 on a weekday to find quite a line (which we had anticipated) fortunately we were a good sized group and spent the time chatting, seemed to help it go by quicker. I’d say the wait was approximately 45 minutes, well worth it. I ordered the brisket Frito pie and a peach hand pie.

If you go to Jay‘s bbq shack and you don’t like it, there’s something wrong with your mouth!! 🤣 Ha ha If you complain about the heat, you’re in Texas bring a fan!! If you want shade bring an umbrella!!! This is one of the most amazing places to go for barbecue that I’ve ever seen.

An absolute must try if in Abilene. Loved the outdoor seating, very "true Texas." The brisket taco was fantastic and the hog wild didnt disappoint! Held up to it's name.

My first time on location here at Jays and it definitely exceeded expectations. I had the marbled brisket, chili con queso sausage, smoked turkey, a pork rib with hatch chili Mac & cheese and potato salad. And banana pudding for dessert. Everything was delicious. All the meats were moist and full of flavor. All seating is outside and it gets busy fast so best to show up early. Limited parking so most park on the street. Well worth the trip.
