I was here when they first opened many years ago and raved about the place when I lived in the area. Moved and came back to find the store not as nice and no food like they used to. They have a great assortment if cupcakes but some were not fresh. It is hit and miss. Sadly the place is not as good as it once was. Prices still pretty good.

Just because, the business advertises they’ve been featured on the “Food Network” doesn’t ensue food/baking is Delicious, Diverse possibly. In fact, it was Disappointing & Disgusting. Waste of 3.25 for each cupcake that had absolutely zero flavorful ingredients. The Maraschino cherry topping was best! Lol! Also, you’ll get arrogant customer service it comes with your purchase! Asked for cupcakes flavors that obviously weren’t labeled correctly! DO BETTER BUSINESS interactions..

Come in with a coupon that I got from a youth organization. Back story; I had bought many. Catty is not close to me so everytime we were in the area we would stop for our 6 free cupcakes, 1 coupon, but you were allowed to use 2 at a time so I would use 2. I might have obused the system by having my husband come in to use 2 more coupons BUT there is no handicap entrance to the building. Friday I walk inside with more coupons then I can use and I was beginning to tell the husband of Blondie that I have more then I could use and they are expiring April of 2024. Before I could get any words out of my mouth he said "only 1 coupon per use" I said "it says I could use 2" he said "I just changed it from 2 to 1, you are out of luck." WHAT? I told him I live an hour away. He did not care. Then he said that he usually picks the cupcakes for the people who have coupons. Maybe I would have gone more if Blondies husband was a nicer man. ALL the times I went there for cupcakes he was just so nasty. One time he was closing just as I got there at 1:00. I will not be going in for any cupcakes and unfortunately I will not be buying any more coupons from the youth activity which I bought these from. Such a shame, good cupcakes but TERRIBLE customer service. Wonder if Blondie knows how he treats the customers.

Very disappointed with a nice silver lining….. I was so excited to find a bakery relatively close to us that served Gluten Free options. Perfect for Mothers Day since my wife is GF. I went to their website and saw they have a store in Catty but also a stand at the Slatington Farmers Market on weekends. Even better, Slatington is a bit closer but still a drive. My son and I head out at 830am since they open at 9am and according to the bakery site when they’re sold out that’s it!! We got there right at 9am and did a lap…..no Blondie’s Bakery. We walked up and asked the person at the info booth where it was located - and she never heard of Blondie’s. Seriously??!! And the silver lining….,after telling us she never heard of Blondie’s, the young lady said there is a bakery stand just around the corner. We went over and very pleasantly surprised to find Wild and Free Bakery. They had plenty of GF options and were super nice to deal with. I highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the area. Moral of the story…improper communication will destroy a small business.

Amazing hidden gem!! They have some of the best tasting cupcakes and choice of hotdogs is just insane (50 different versions). Hotdog with mac-n-cheese just hits the spot!!
