We ordered a medical Inhaler (which is severely important for my partner to breathe) on Friday May 17th,2024 and buy rite told us “it’ll be here by 3pm today” Monday May 20,2024. We arrive to the pharmacy at 12:35pm on May 21, 2024 and are informed “we ordered it but it won’t be in until 3pm today” and when informed that we were told the same thing yesterday we were told “oh well it’s the generic brand that we ordered so it’ll be today at 3pm” just bad customer service and no desire to make sure patients who NEED their medications to survive, can have them. Not to mention the fact that they blatantly lie to patients about when to expect their medications. Thank god he has 3 puffs left in an old inhaler until next week. (Which is the only time we can be sure they ACTUALLY have his inhaler)

Call 1 I call Buy Rite, Apalachicola, FL to inquire about filling an out of town scrip. I am told it can be filled. My doctor's office calls it in. Call 2 When I call to verify that it is ready prior to driving over, a second Buy Rite pharmacist tells me that he refuses to fill based on my state of residence (Fyi, the scrip has no connection to reproduction. I am a senior citizen) Call 3 I call CVS, Apalachicola to fill scrip. CVS is unable to fill bc after refusing to fill scrip, Buy Rite has billed Medicare for it anyway. Call 4. I report Buy Rite to Medicare, and open an insurance fraud investigation. If Buy Rite's corporate policy is to refuse out of stater's scrips then say so up front. I am not here for a fight. I will simply go elsewhere. However, Buy Rite refused to fill the scrip and then billed my insurance for that scrip. I have been enjoying this area for years. Most companies here are honest and pleasant to deal with. But fraud is fraud. Be aware.

Very friendly and professional customer service. For once, I didn't get hassled like at another pharmacy I've gone to and didn't have to wait all day to get my script filled. I'm going here for now on even though it's the opposite way of where we'd go.

I’m an “out-of-towner” and needed otc meds but wasn’t sure what to buy. The pharmacist didn’t hesitate to stop what he was doing to assist me. A1 customer service, plus it was very well stocked. They know their products.

Super rude pharmacist. Tried to avoid giving our son his medication for adhd and most probably because my husband had his work attire on. My sons doctor upped his dosage on the same medication that was filled a couple weeks earlier. We offered to bring the other one back, we offered to video us dumping them down the toilet, just anything to get my sons medication and the pharmacist just kept being difficult. Everyone has a bad day and I've been here before but this was ridiculous.
